    • Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Tuesday at St. Joseph's Cathedral for John "Jack" Murphy, 80, of 919 W. 11th., who died shortly after he was admitted to a local hospital Saturday.
      Mr. Murphy was born November 2, 1887 in Wall Lake Township and farmed in that community until moving to Sioux Falls in 1949. He was a World War I veteran. (PVT Co B2 MG BN)
      A brother, William, of Sioux Falls survives.
      A parish scripture service will be held at 7:30 PM Monday, Knights of Columbus will recite the office for the dead at 8 PM and Catholic Daughters of America will recite the rosary at 8:30 PM at the Barnett Funeral Home.
      Burial will be at St. George Cemetery at Hartford.
